The fine print

Privacy

How this site handles your data.

What we measure

This site uses Google Analytics to count visits and see what people use. It records the pages you open, the links you follow (such as Register on Unstop), how far you scroll, how fast pages load, your device and browser, your approximate city, and the site or search that brought you here.

For visitors signed in to Google with ad personalisation turned on, Google also adds age range, gender and interests. We only ever see these as totals across many visitors, never for one person.

Google Analytics keeps the details of each visit for 14 months. We never send your name, email address or phone number to it.

Cookies

Google Analytics stores small files called cookies in your browser, named _ga and _ga_ followed by a code. They let it tell a returning browser from a new one.

How Google uses it

Google processes this data for us. Read how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Switching it off

Install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on, or block cookies for this site in your browser settings. The site works the same either way.

Registration

Registering for an event happens on Unstop, so Unstop's own privacy policy covers what you enter there.
